The Contest
Miss Queen of the Year is an online beauty competition which consists in choosing the perfect beauty queen of the year, based In all the requirements that a beauty queen should have: personality, beauty, style, elegance...
The Contestants
The contestants of the MQOTY Pageant will be the best girls of the four Grand Slam Pageants: Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss Earth, Miss International, and in 2014 Miss USA girls will also compete.
The girls who make through in the Final Show of each contest will automatically enter in the Top 100, and there are some spots left for the non-semifinalists girl who are considered worthy of a spot by the MQOTY Organization.
Each contest has a determined number of spots depending of the number of the delegates, level of beauty and also the prestige of each contest.
As 2014 the spots for each contest are:
Miss Universe: 29 girls (Top 16 + 13 non-semifinalists)
Miss World: 22 girls (Top 10 + 12 non-semifinalists)
Miss International: 16 girls (Top 10 + 6 non-semifinalists)
Miss Earth: 20 girls (Top 16 + 4 non-semifinalists)
Miss USA: 12 girls (Top 10 + 3 from Top 20)
* In Miss USA we are not counting with the winner, as she automatically belongs to the Miss Universe section.
The Voting
The voting process to choose MQOTY has two differents phases. The first one is choosing he Top 100, that belongs only to the MQOTY Organization, as we are free to choose who takes part in the competition and who doesn't.
Once the Top 100 has been elected the second phase will take place. Where a panel of international judges will vote for their favorites in each category which will be:
* Category 1 (Top 100): Overall package
* Category 2 (Top 50): Facial beauty
* Category 3 (Top 30): Commercial
* Category 4 (Top 15): Swimsuit
* Category 5 (Top 10): Evening Gown
* Category 6 (Top 5): Overall package
The judges will score each girl in every phase, and the scores of the judges joined with the public votes will determinate who makes through to next phase of competition.
The Winner
The girl who receives the highest score in the last phase of competition will be named Miss Queen of the Year, which means she's the ebst delegate from the year, and she will be the image of the website during one full year.
